This exhibition presents a carefully thought out choice of the masterpieces of one of the most significant chapters in the History of Photography; the visitor is thus conducted beyond the stereotypes of Exoticism and Japanism and introduced to the vision of the profound ideological and cultural interactions that took place in the encounter between Japan and the West.
